Bio: Laura McLean joined the Greater Los Santos Police as soon as she could. Loving her job, she rose to the rank of Sergeant. Follow her and her fellow officers from roads policing to on the beat, airports to the seas, city to countryside - the many various police forces protect and serve San Andreas, Vice City, Liberty City and the other lands that make up my alternate-history America!
Heading down the steps of the Rockford Hills transit station, there's still people milling about, despite the late hour. PC Hill & and her partner carefully assess the commuters, looking out for anyone who's wanted, or in the process of committing a crime!
PC Mhari Hill of the National Transport Police has just started her nightshift. Despite the sun hanging low in the sky, Los Santos' transport network runs 24/7, and night time tends to bring out trouble on the network.

Sgt McLean arrives to investigate the aftermath of a failed petrol station robbery. With the lives of the storekeepers in danger, GLSP officers felt they had no choice but to neutralise the attacker. Thankfully the staff escaped unharmed.
A lone gunshot through a petrol station door. GLSP police officers are trained to de-escalate and use other non-lethal trainings and options to bring risky situations under control, but sadly sometimes shots will have to be fired.
When spike strips and TPAC fails, sometimes the cars of the roads policing unit become the best tool to stop a fleeing driver. A slightly beat up BMW 3 series is parked within a motorway closure awaiting assessment by the RPU Sergeant after the pursuit.
On a foggy Los Santos night, an unmarked police car of the GLSP speeds its way through the light evening-time traffic on the way to an emergency.
Unmarked police cars can be a powerful tool in sneaking up on criminals in the act, but when it's time to go, a flick of the switch illuminates the blue lights - despite its unmarked nature, it still has to comply with blue light regulations requiring 360 degree visibility of blue lights.

Sometimes during a pursuit situation, a helping hand appears out of no-where. In the case of this pursuit of a stolen ambulance, it came in the form of a well placed (or poorly placed if your the insurance company) food van parked by the side of the road!
Thankfully the occupants were not aboard, and just as well! The force of the crash tore the side door from the ambulance.

Sun's out, briefing's completed: it's time for the GLSP officers to head to their cars to start their duties for the shift - but not everyone's excited about the start of shift!
Out on patrol, reports of an armed robbery come over the radio. So begins a lengthy pursuit across Los Santos and the countryside, ending with a shootout in the middle of the city!
Getting her stripes! After several years of hard work within the Greater Los Santos Police Service, Laura McLean finally earns her Sergeant stripes!
As well as cars, the Roads Policing Unit operates a number of motorbikes; able to filter through heavy traffic with ease, they can often reach accidents and incidents faster than traffic cars!

"Over the fence policing" means the Military and Air Force Police have the jurisdiction to respond to emergencies among civilians, if they take place outside, but near to the bases perimeter.

The Coastguard are responsible for saving lives and maintaining security along the country's waterways. Having to traverse beaches and off-road terrain as well as roadways, they're typically equipped with 4x4 vehicles.

Back on patrol! The motorways are the fastest way in and out of Los Santos, and could be a powerful tool for criminals, if it wasn't for dedicated officers from the Blaine County Police and the Greater Los Santos Police working together to keep the roads safe!⠀

Car parks can be a great source of trouble: people stealing cars, people stealing from cars, people testing their driving skills when they think noone is looking - they can be a good place to catch crims!⠀
