Astrið Aleksdóttir is young girl from a small village in the Faroe Islands. Astrið's mother passed away and with her father being killed in combat, she was left with no family and no roots in either of the countries she grew up in. She came to America in search of her fathers friends, who looked after her as she settled into life in America and became a clinician, practicing medicine. After a year home in Føryar, Astrið returns to America...
Thomas Henderson

Growing up in a poor family in the Scottish mining town of Coatbridge, Thomas Henderson spent his teenage years wanting. Those frustrations frequently boiled over into fights and getting into trouble with the law . Even working in the mines, he couldn't make enough to put those frustrations to bed and with constantly being at loggerheads with his father, Thomas eventually decided to up and leave for a new start in America.

Born in London, Horatio attended prestigious schools, studying medicine and working all his life in the medical field. Working in Kings College Hospital under the esteemed surgeon Joseph Lister, Horatio rose through the ranks - earning the title of Doctor, then the title of Mr in the British tradition of surgeons. Partially retiring as an accomplished surgeon, Mr Levenworth used his wealth to purchase a manor in Saint Denis in Saints' Crossing, hoping for some new challenges and some well deserved rest!

Five years ago, a new virus spread across the world. Zombies... Civilisation collapsed as more and more fell to the illness. Lilith Chester, having left high school to join the army, hadn't even finished basic training when she was pressed into trying to contain the outbreak. After the collapse, she joined Sgt Leon Garcia, and his sister Miree, as they make their way through the ruined cities and towns of San Andreas.

Her father said if she needed help, to seek out his friends from the army wherever they may be. With nothing but the clothes on her back, she boarded a boat across the Atlantic and set out to the new world to find friends and a purpose in life.
